Paolo Rustichelli plays the famous Bach 1st Prelude and the legendary Bach-Busoni Choral "Nun Freut Euch Liebe Christen". Paolo likes to underline the legacy of Bachian counterpoint with modern jazz.
This is especially evident watching the video of the jazzy Busoni futuristic (1922) revision for piano of Bach's Choral "Nun Freut Euch Liebe Christen", which is considered to be one of the most difficult classical piano pieces ever written to play at the required speed with the melody
at the left hand, playing legato and staccato...
The sound was captured by an amature digital camera mic, so that no effects are added.
Even if these videos don't have a "professional" sound, since this kind of camera mic tends to uniformly compress and flatten the sound which loses the forte & piano sound nuances... they still are mainly a "visual" document of Paolo's virtuosity.... enjoy listening!
